Young Sierra Leonean Septimous Kai Senessie, also known as the “feminist,” is making significant contributions to the nation’s development through his advocacy for women’s empowerment and campaign against gender-based violence. A graduate of the University of Makeni (UNIMAK), Senessie obtained a Master’s in Global Sustainability and Entrepreneurship, the only international course offered at UNIMAK. He has used his education and expertise to promote sustainable development in Sierra Leone and support entrepreneurship in the country.
As a feminist and gender advocate, Senessie has been a vocal champion for women’s rights and gender equality.
