Salone Messenger has been selected to receive a 2026 KID-AFAN Impactful Game Changers Award in recognition of its contribution to community development and positive social change through media.
In a letter dated 15 October 2026, KID-AFAN Company Limited named the platform, founded by Sallu Kamuskay, as a recipient in the “Impactful Game Changer Media Platform” category.
The management and award committee said the recognition followed a review of the platform’s work and supporting references. It highlighted Salone Messenger’s commitment to community empowerment, advocacy, leadership and teamwork.
The letter was addressed to “Salone Messenger (Sallu Kamuskay)” and signed by Abass Asca Sheriff, Coordinating Manager and Assistant Director, and Dr Isatu Kakay-Diallo, President and Chief Executive Officer of KID-AFAN Company Limited.
According to the organisers, recipients will receive an award trophy and a stipend at the event to support their work.
The 2026 awards mark the first edition of the KID-AFAN Impactful Game Changers Awards. The organisers said the initiative recognises people and organisations whose work contributes to positive change in society.
