Sierra Leone’s defensive midfielder, John Bankole Kamara, has recently agreed to extend his contract with Greece’s second-tier club, Egaleo Football Club, for the upcoming 2023-24 seasons.
Kamara joined Egaleo in January of last year and has since become a crucial player for the team. As a midfielder, his main responsibility is to disrupt the opposition’s play when they are in possession of the ball. He plays a vital role in supporting the defense, safeguarding the goal, and acting as a connection between the defense and attack when necessary.
During his time at Egaleo, Kamara has made eleven appearances for the club. His contributions were instrumental in helping them avoid relegation, as they finished in tenth place last season.
