Rick Ross has provided support to eight promising students by awarding $10,000 in scholarships to students from Miami Norland Senior High School and Ross’ alma mater, Miami Carol City Senior High School, according to Billboard.

The scholarships were made possible through a partnership between Ross, Reggie Leon, Dr. Steve Gallon II, and Tariq Cherif, co-founder of the Rolling Loud festival. The scholarship recipients were also given tickets to the upcoming Rolling Loud Miami music festival, which begins on July 21, 2023.

Ross shared insights into his entrepreneurial journey and performed for the students before awarding a student with a 4.6 GPA with hundred-dollar bills. The students expressed their gratitude, with Teeshalee Chin stating that the scholarship would help her with her studies and anything else she may need.
