IWD#2022 Impacful Women!
Meet Madam Erica Konneh, who made it among the 12 impactful women on International Women’s Day -2022. The impactful women initiative (IWI) spotlights women referred to as strong women, who are recognized to have passion to uplift others.
The IWI only considers women outside government positions who are either pioneering a just cause or are sharing the little they have to impact others.
Madam Erica Konneh is an Admin Officer at Highwoods & Associates SL and an associate member of SWSL. She is recognized for her philanthropic heart, for supporting children and her fellow women.
In 2021, Erica Konneh partnered with Social Workers Sierra Leone and pioneered a school supply project for children affected by the 2021 fire disaster at the Susan’s Bay Community, and she also pioneered financial support for women with low income in her community through NaSCA among others.
Because of her passion to help others, SWSL recognizes her as one of the 12 impactful women.
In her own words, IMPACT is “being able to make a positive difference wherever you are, regardless of the size”.

To be recognized as an impactful woman, a woman has to live for others and make time for others. And such a woman should not hold government position in society.
