The woman spoke of how men would use and dump her without paying her, leaving her with no choice but to continue with her line of work. She then went on to say that she was tired of the lifestyle and was now looking for a man to marry her.
Liz Allen after watching the vidoe couldn’t help but feel sorry for the woman. She knew all too well the struggles that young women faced in Sierra Leone. As a farmer, healthcare provider, psychologist, entrepreneur, and founder of Liz Allen Food Production & Foundation, empowering women and young girls was her life’s work.
She decided to reach out by commenting on the vidoe requesting to connect with the young lady . Liz knew that the woman needed to empower herself first before looking for a man. “She’s so beautiful and young,” Liz thought to herself. “She has so much potential.” Liz commented.

Founder of the Liz Allen Women’s Foundation, Liz Allen has empowered 20 women in Waterloo with a full tuition fee at the Al-Sidiq Tailoring and Fashion School encouraging them to learn tailoring and be able to support their families.

After the opening of the Al- Sidiq Tailoring School by a young Sierra Leonean in Waterloo. The news of tailoring school got the attention of Liz Allen who wanted to enroll women to learn tailoring and be empowered.
Liz Allen Women’s Foundation roll out in the waterloo community for women that needed the opportunity most. Liz Allen Foundation came across a group of women who were struggling to make ends meet and were looking for opportunities to learn new skills.
