An Indian national who had travelled from Sierra Leone to Mumbai was arrested by officers of DRI Mumbai for possession of cocaine. According to the Asian News International, the officers apprehended the individual after examining his luggage and discovering two packets of white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine.
The total weight of the cocaine was 4 kg, with an estimated market value of approximately Rs 40 Crores. The seizure was made under the provisions of the NDPS Act 1985.
