A young Sierra Leonean, Santigie Conteh has taken to his social media to celebrate after bagging 3rd best poet of the year at the Miro Forestry Company SL Limited poetry competition. Santigie , in a Facebook post, noted that this is the second time he has been rewarded for his skill.

The brilliant young Sierra Leonean went on to appreciate the organizers of the competition and dedicate the award his mentor. “I dedicate this one to my mentor Aruna Bangura BA., MA., CHRA, CHRBP for always guiding me onto the right path.” he noted.

For the second time I got rewarded for my writing skills.
I emerged as the 3rd best poet of the year.
I am grateful for this and hope next year I will emerge as the best poet.
Thanks to Miro Forestry Company SL Limited for giving me the opportunity and restoring my passion for writing, my department for the support and the Compliance Department for organizing such a program.
