In a stunning turn of events, former East End Lions and Bo Rangers striker, Musa Noah Kamara, widely known as Musa Tombo, appears to be on the verge of joining Sierra Leone Premier League club, Luawa FC. This unexpected move comes after Kamara’s parent club, Al-Ittihad, issued an official request for the striker to return to Libya before the end of August. In a bold move, the Libyan club even threatened to escalate the matter to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee if Kamara failed to comply.
Kamara, who is 23 years old, had signed with the Libyan club approximately a year ago. However, citing security concerns, he chose not to honor his contract and remained in Sierra Leone. During the second half of the Sierra Leone League season, Kamara was loaned back to his former club, Bo Rangers. Now that the loan deal has officially concluded, sources indicate that Luawa FC’s management has expressed interest in acquiring the services of the former Leone Stars striker.
