Christian Health Association Sierra Leone has donated bales of secondhand clothing- blankets, and towels to HealthCare for the Aged for distribution to the deprived communities they work.

Handing over the items, Florence Bull the head at CHASL said that they have heard a lot about the good work and sacrifice Healthcare for the Aged have embarked on; reaching deplorable communities with health care support for absolutely no cost. “We admire the venture your organization is undertaking to ensure old people in vulnerable communities are given free medical treatments. We are proud to associate with you, and will continue to lend our support as and when necessary”. She said.

Receiving the items on behalf of the beneficiaries, the CEO and Founder of HealthCare for the Aged Mohamed S. Bah thanked CHASL for such support, he said that since the formation of their organization in 2016, this is the first support they have received from institutions like hers. ” We have been using our resources to fund and undertake our projects, now that your organization has come in to help we feel very grateful. We hope that other individuals and organizations will follow your foot steep”. He said.

HealthCare for the Aged which started its operation in 2016 has helped several deprived communities in Freetown with medical support from their resources. But with some external support now coming in, it’s a sign of a light in the tunnel.

“We are at a point where we need external support because the number of patients we care for is surging at a ridiculous pace, we are overwhelmed now, and hope people will send a helping hand, so we can continue with our dreams of helping old and vulnerable people who stay at communities almost unreachable”. Mohamed S. Bah- CEO/Founder HealthCare for the Aged.
