African Young Voices Media Empire (AYV) has announced the return of popular Sierra Leonean radio and TV presenter Mamaja Jalloh popularly known as DJ Base as a presenter and reporter on AYV International news from London, effective immediately, and will become the TV’s Content Manager.
DJ Base was working for Mercury Radio before relocating to the UK. His immense contribution to national development is clearly unmatched.
Mamaja Jalloh is a household name in Sierra Leone when it comes to radio broadcasting, Dj Base started his radio career in 1999 at Radio Democracy.
He is the station manager for AYV Radio and the presenter of the biggest and one of the longest airing radio programs in Sierra Leone called “Nite Life” which comes up every day except Thursdays and Sundays from 10 pm – 7 am.
The Nite Life radio program is the only radio show that also airs live on TV on AYV Channel 33. It is a current Affairs show that deals with all issues ranging from Politics to Education, Security, Human Rights, and Human interest Stories with insightful interviews and Live phone-ins on the show.
