Adama Finda Borway, a Sierra Leonean and a participant of the 2023 Community Engagement Exchange program, has been selected as one of the speakers at the National Girls Summit. The summit is organized by GADNet and will take place in Bo District. Adama will be speaking on the topic of āLeadership and Decision-Making; Leading by Example Creating a healthy lifestyle for leadership successā.
Adama is currently working with YWCA Utah in Salt Lake City where she is enhancing her skills in leadership, violence prevention, and gaining new skills and experience in the areas of project management and implementation. She is also the founder and programs coordinator for She-Empowerment League, a community organization aimed at empowering girls and young women to gain/regain control of their lives and achieve financial independence.
