Sierra Leonean independent presidential candidate Dr. Alpha Grace has announced that he has been officially nominated for the prestigious Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize, a recognition given to individuals demonstrating outstanding leadership and commitment to solving global challenges.
In a statement shared publicly, Dr. Grace described the nomination as “deeply meaningful,” noting that it reflects over 30 years of work across natural health, social transformation, sustainable agriculture, and community security. He said his efforts have focused on promoting human dignity, resilience, and long-term development.
According to him, his work has spanned across West Africa, Europe, and India, where he has contributed to discussions and solutions on criminal justice and migration, improved public health awareness, and supported community development initiatives.
“This nomination is not mine alone. It is a tribute to Africa, to its strength, its wisdom, and its unbreakable spirit,” he said, adding that the recognition belongs to people across the continent and beyond who continue to work towards positive change.
Dr. Grace, who declared his independent candidacy in 2025, is leading a national movement built on unity, security, health, education, and economic growth. His campaign message focuses on people-centered governance, especially targeting youth, women, and families.
Beyond politics, he leads Grace International Multidisciplinary Consultancy and the African Naturopathic College. Through these institutions, he works on projects related to healthcare, agriculture, cybersecurity, and economic development across Africa.
The Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize is known for recognizing leaders who show courage, innovation, and ethical leadership in addressing complex global issues.
Dr. Grace said he accepts the nomination with humility and renewed determination, pledging to continue his work towards building a better future for Africa and the world.
