Appointed Minister of Women and Early Childhood Care, she is the youngest minister in the new Chadian government, along with Routouang Mohamed Ndonga Christian, the new Minister for Sport and Youth.

The new government, reshuffled on July 14 by Chadian President Idriss Deby, is composed of 35 members, including 9 women, and has 14 new ministers and 6 secretaries of state.

Amina Priscille Longoh has been appointed Minister of Women and Early Childhood Care. Since 2019, she has been the Director-General of the National House of Women in Chad. She is also the president of the Chad Helping Hands foundation that she created. She promotes the education of girls and the poor. Amina Priscille Longoh was also the education and skills commissioner of the Pan African Youth Union.

A communications graduate, Amina Priscille Longoh began her career in the petroleum sector before turning to humanitarian work. In fact, in 2016, she initiated a fundraising campaign on social networks to help a poor woman have her 2-year-old daughter who had eye cancer operated on. Unfortunately, due to some delays, the little girl could not be saved. At the end of 2016, Amina Priscille Longoh decided that it was time to concretize the Foundation’s project to be able to act in real-time. She, therefore, named it “Chad Helping Hands”, translating Solidarity around social causes.
