Thomas Amoani, a brilliant African student, has been named the best student in the Department of Economics and Business Finance at Brunel University London in the United Kingdom. Originally from Ghana, West Africa, Amoani made headlines in 2020 when he aced the West African Examination Council (WAEC) exam, receiving As in all eight subjects he registered for.

His remarkable achievement caught the attention of Ghana’s President Akufo-Addo, who awarded him a scholarship to study economics and business finance at Brunel University in the UK. And now, after returning to school, Amoani has once again demonstrated his exceptional talents by emerging as the top student in the department.
