Mohamed A. Kamara, Co-Founder of Freetown Innovation Lab, shared his inspiring entrepreneurship journey during the 2025 Orange Social Venture Prize, held in Freetown.
Speaking at the event, Kamara reflected on his journey as an entrepreneur, highlighting the many roadblocks, sacrifices, and lessons that have shaped his path from idea development to launching commercial products. He emphasized his commitment to using innovation to transform lives and empower the next generation of changemakers in Sierra Leone.
“It was an honour to speak about my journey and celebrate bold ideas that are shaping Sierra Leone’s future,” Kamara said. “Entrepreneurship is not easy, but it’s powerful when used to solve real problems and drive impact.”
