The Sierra Leone Tennis Association (SLTA) has signed a one-year partnership with Korlie Limited aimed at expanding tennis development and creating more opportunities for young players across the country.

The agreement was announced during an official signing ceremony, where both organisations confirmed their commitment to work together to strengthen grassroots tennis and promote the long-term growth of the sport in Sierra Leone.

Speaking at the event, SLTA President Andy Bam described the partnership as an important step toward building a stronger future for tennis. He said the collaboration will help improve player development and create better pathways for young athletes.

Korlie Limited Managing Director Cynthia Tsumake said the company is proud to support sports development through innovation and partnership. She noted that the agreement will help modernise training methods and provide new opportunities for players across the country.

As part of the partnership, the two sides plan to introduce programmes for talent identification, coaching support, and improved access to training facilities. The initiative will also include the use of technology-based tools to help monitor player progress and improve performance.

Officials said the collaboration is expected to strengthen tennis at the grassroots level while also preparing young players for higher levels of competition.

The Sierra Leone Tennis Association said the partnership forms part of its wider plan to attract private-sector support and increase investment in sports development nationwide.
