Over 100 professionals from 22 countries gathered in Manila for a major tech forum organized by DCN Global, focusing on how technology can improve lives in real communities.
The event, titled “Digital Transformation for Empowered Communities,” brought together 28 speakers and 80 participants including creators, thinkers, and changemakers. Their goal was simple: to make technology work for people.
The forum looked at how modern tools like Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, and immersive technology are changing the way people live, connect, and grow. But the message was clear — digital change is not only about machines or apps, it’s about people.
Some key lessons shared at the event were:
-
Digital empowerment begins with access and confidence in using tech.
-
Storytelling is still powerful, and maybe more important than ever.
-
It’s not just about having the latest tech tools — skills are what matter most for the future.
The energy in the room was described as full of collaboration, creativity, and bold ideas, showing what’s possible when people from different backgrounds come together.

DCN Global said they remain committed to helping communities understand and take part in shaping the technologies that are transforming the world.
“This is what the future looks like when diverse voices show up,” the organization said.
