Spark Media Sierra Leone has celebrated a new class of young creatives who completed its 2025 Photography and Videography Masterclass, a three-month intensive training designed to build the country’s next generation of visual storytellers.
The graduation ceremony took place on 15 November, marking a proud moment for the participants who finished the programme with new skills, confidence, and a stronger commitment to telling positive stories about Sierra Leone.
Spark Media fully funded the entire masterclass as part of its mission to empower young people and contribute to national development through creativity. According to the organisation, the initiative reflects their belief that real change begins when young people are offered opportunities and the right tools to grow.
In a message shared after the event, Spark Media expressed deep appreciation to Leone Rock and the Minister of Tourism for their support, which helped make the ceremony a success.
The newly trained graduates are now set to join Sierra Leone’s creative industry, using storytelling to reshape narratives, inspire communities, and shine a brighter light on the country.
Spark Media is calling on the public to join in celebrating these rising visual storytellers and the promising future they represent for the nation.
