The Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has confirmed the sudden death of Hon. Mariama Ella Goba, Member of Parliament for Kenema District and former District Women’s Leader.
The cause of her death has not been disclosed as of the time of this report. The party described her passing as a significant loss, both to Kenema District and to the SLPP.
Hon. Goba was known for her devotion to the cause of women in leadership and active politics, especially during her position as the District Women’s Leader. She gained recognition from both political colleagues and the public due to her efforts in Parliament and the party.
