A staff member of Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Trade, Ms. Hawanatu Kamara, is set to travel to India for a professional training programme.
Ms. Kamara will take part in a course at the MCR Human Resource Development Institute in Hyderabad, located in the southern Indian state of Telangana. Her training comes under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme for the 2025–26 cycle.
The ITEC initiative is run by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India. It offers training opportunities to professionals from developing countries to support capacity-building and skills development.
The Indian High Commission in Sierra Leone shared the news on its official Facebook page, highlighting the ongoing cooperation between the two nations in areas of education and technical support.
