On the 18, January, the Ministry of Health and Sanitation in Sierra Leone, led by MoH Austin Demby, convened a crucial meeting with health development partners to seek support and discuss plans for Sierra Leone’s hosting of the 64th Annual Conference and Scientific Meeting of the West Africa College of Surgeons (WACS). The prestigious event is scheduled to take place from the 3rd to the 7th of March 2024, attracting around 700 surgeons from across the globe.
