Sierra Leone’s Foreign Minister, Timothy Kabba, held talks with his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, in Morocco to discuss the execution of 13 agreements across various sectors including Agriculture, Energy, Education, and Health. During the discussions, it was revealed that Morocco plans to open an embassy in Freetown, with the aim of establishing it by September 2023.
Furthermore, it was announced that a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture in Morocco will visit Sierra Leone by the end of the month to initiate the implementation of the agreement focused on improving agricultural productivity. The government of Sierra Leone has also committed to providing land for a pilot state farm as part of this initiative.
