President Julius Maada Bio has called for renewed commitment to peace, stability, and shared global responsibility during his address at the 7th AU-EU Summit in Luanda.
Speaking to African and European leaders, President Bio emphasized that the partnership between the two continents must be anchored in mutual respect and fairness, especially as both regions confront rising instability and global uncertainties.
He reaffirmed Sierra Leone’s continued dedication to strong governance and multilateral cooperation, noting that the country’s leadership roles—as Chairman of ECOWAS and President of the United Nations Security Council for November—place it at the heart of regional and international peace efforts.
President Bio expressed confidence that deeper collaboration between Africa and Europe will support progress, promote security, and create shared opportunities for future generations.
