IWD#2022 Impacful Women!
Meet Madam Elizabeth Brewah, who made it among the 12 impactful women on International Women’s Day -2022. The impactful women initiative (IWI) spotlights women referred to as strong women, who are recognized to have passion to uplift others.

The IWI only considers women outside government positions who are either pioneering a just cause or are sharing the little wealth they have to impact others.

Madam Elizabeth Brewah, is the Country Lead Coordinator for Good Deeds Day Sierra Leone, an Activist, a Women and Girls Champion……She is recognized for her philanthropic heart, for supporting children and her fellow women. Also, Madam Brewah is one of the founding member of Social Workers Sierra Leone during her college days and has supported SWSL in their homeless service in countless times.

In 2021, Elizabeth Brewah has through her organization trained 20 women and 10 girls hand craft design and also donated food and non food items Orphanages and communities within the Western Rural District. When the fire broke out in Susan’s Bay and Leciester Road community, Ms. Brewah’s organization was among the many organizations who donated food and non food items to the victims, with support from Mount Zion International Prayer Line, she was able to rebuild the Leicester Road community houses that were burnt down.

Elizabeth Brewah continues to engage children from the Good Deeds Day Sierra Leone school clubs through many areas of discussion not limited to sexual health and reproductive rights.

Ms. Elizabeth Brewah, also launched Good Deeds Day Sierra Leone Vocational Training Center where 16 students graduated in Cakebaking and design.

Because of her giving spirit and passion to help others, SWSL recognizes her as one of the 12 impactful women.
