CEO of Jeremiah Children’s Community UK Project CIC, Pamela Jah Marks Birthday with Le60,000 Worth of Food Donations to the Blind and Deaf in Sierra Leone
Pamela Jah, CEO of the Jeremiah Children’s Community UK Project CIC, dedicated to empowering poor people marked her birthday by making generous donations to two key educational institutions in Sierra Leone – the Milton Magai School for the Blind and the National School for the Deaf. The event took place today at both schools’ compounds, where students, staff, and the local community gathered to receive the thoughtful contributions.
The donations, aimed at supporting the daily needs of the students, included 20 bags of rice, 10 crates of water, 10 rubber oils, 12 boxes of educational materials, and 4 boxes of biscuits. Today, I am not just celebrating another year of life; I am celebrating the opportunity to give back and make a tangible impact in the lives of these disables.”
Both schools, which are dedicated to providing specialized education to children with visual and hearing impairments, expressed their heartfelt gratitude. Staff members at both Milton Magai School for the Blind and the National School for the Deaf highlighted how donations like these are crucial in ensuring the schools can meet the needs of their students and maintain an inclusive educational environment.

“This donation comes at a time when we need it most,” said the principal of Milton Magai School for the Blind. “These resources will help alleviate some of the challenges our students face with access to food. These food items will serve us for the next few months”
The National School for the Deaf also shared their appreciation, with the school’s headteacher commenting, “The support from Pamela Jah and the Jeremiah Children’s Community UK Project CIC strengthens our ability to continue providing food for our deaf students, allowing them to pursue their dreams and ambitions.
