Guaranty Trust Bank Sierra Leone (GTBank SL) has awarded the first set of winners in its ‘Kip for D Bambai’ reloaded ‘Deposit and Win’ promotion. The presentation ceremony took place at the bank’s head office, where 16 lucky customers received cooking essentials, including bags of rice and gallons of oil.
Given the wide geographic reach of the campaign, some winners were unable to attend the ceremony in person and will receive their prizes at a later date. The promotion, designed to encourage savings and account reactivation, has already generated excitement among GTBank customers.
One of the prize winners, Samuel Nicol, expressed his gratitude to GTBank, saying he felt fortunate to win and urged others to take part in the promotion. “It’s a great opportunity to win while banking,” Nicol shared.
Another winner, Ignatius Ochiadukwu, highlighted the positive relationship between the bank and its customers. “You bank with them, and in return, they give you gifts. That is so wholesome,” Ochiadukwu said.
Christiana Sia Ngauga, who won two gallons of oil, praised the promotion, especially at a time when the cost of essential items like cooking oil is high.
Victor Cleveland, Head of Retail Banking at GTBank, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to rewarding its customers, urging them to reactivate their accounts and deposit at least 250 Leones to qualify for future draws. He added that the promotion, which runs until December 2024, will see 16 winners selected each month, culminating in a grand finale in January 2025, where four brand-new motorcycles will be up for grabs.
The bank emphasized its dedication to fairness and transparency, assuring customers that all draws are conducted randomly and without manipulation.
