The organisers of Face of Sierra Leone have announced free registration for the 2026 edition of the national beauty pageant, offering young women the opportunity to represent Sierra Leone on international stages.
The announcement was made by pageant coordinator Natasha Beckley, who described the initiative as a step towards making pageantry more accessible for aspiring beauty queens. She said the programme is designed to give young women a chance to travel, gain exposure, and proudly represent Sierra Leone abroad.
According to the organisers, registration for Face of Sierra Leone 2026 is free, and sponsorship support has been secured for 50 contestants beginning their pageant journey. Interested applicants are required to submit a professional photograph and pay a fee of Le500 to collect essential items, including an opening dress, beachwear, and an ashobi fabric for the evening gown.
Natasha Beckley said the pageant continues to focus on creating opportunities for young women while reducing financial barriers often associated with beauty competitions. She added that the aim is to empower contestants and prepare them for both national and international representation.
The organisers also highlighted the success of the Face of Sierra Leone 2025 edition, which produced four winners who went on to represent the country in major global pageants. These included Miss Earth in the Philippines, Miss Cosmo in the United States, Miss Supranational in Poland, and Miss International in Japan.
For the 2026 edition, the top four contestants will again receive fully sponsored trips to represent Sierra Leone at international beauty competitions. Organisers said this reflects their commitment to ensuring that talent and potential, rather than financial capacity, determine participation and success.
Registration for Face of Sierra Leone 2026 will close on February 28. Interested applicants have been encouraged to seek further information through the official contact provided by the organisers.
