Azerbaijan’s professional football club has officially announced the acquisition of Sierra Leonean left-winger Alpha Bedor Conteh, securing his services on a two-and-a-half-year contract with an additional one-year option. Conteh initiated his professional journey with Central Parade Football Club in the Sierra Leone Premier League, subsequently venturing to Israel, Bulgaria, and now Azerbaijan.
Having recently inked a fresh contract with the top-tier Bulgarian club, Lokomotiv Plovdiv, Conteh, who hails from Sierra Leone, has now made the transition to Azerbaijan. Before this move, he showcased his skills with FC Hapoel Rishon Lezion in Israel. Notably, Conteh marked his senior debut for the Sierra Leone National Team in a friendly match against Algeria.
