ActionAid Sierra Leone, an international charity organization that works with women and girls living in poverty has donated reading and learning materials to pupils in Tonkoilili District in a bid to enhance their education and promote the Government’s free and quality education.

The support was through the perkin’s project titled ” improving access to quality education for children in Tonkolili district” which is operating in six primary and secondary schools in the district.

According to the project officer of the perkin’s project,  Mr Sylvester Amara said the project is set for three years, and every quarter they organize a reading competition among the six schools they are operating to test the ability of the pupils to make them more competent and fit for the next class.
