Sad News For Sierra Leone As Two Leone Star Players Tested Positive
In a Twitter post by the Sierra Leone Football Association, Sierra Leone right-back Osman Kakay and Wealdstone’s David Sesay have been tested positive and gone into isolation ahead of the match against Ivory Coast on Sunday.
The two Sierra Leonean players have added to the increasing number of infections at the Africa Cup of Nations in a blow to its immediate prospects at the tournament in Cameroon.
The SLFA has stated that the two defenders will not be part of the team on Sunday’s encounter against Cote d’Ivoire.
