Honourable Chief Justice Kamanda today Co-chaired one of the Summit’s most significant sessions, bringing together serving and retired African Chief Justices to deliberate on the future of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Alternative Justice Systems (AJS) across the continent. During his presentation, he emphasized that ADR remains a critical pathway for African judiciaries seeking to expedite the delivery of justice and improve access to justice for citizens.

“These engagements underpin our collective resolve to deal with cases timeously and to adopt a uniform and more practical approach of inclusiveness in dispute resolution,” Chief Justice Kamanda stated.
The presence of Sierra Leone’s delegation reflects the country’s active engagement in continental efforts aimed at modernizing justice systems, strengthening judicial cooperation, and promoting accessible, timely, and people-centred justice across Africa.
