KID-AFAN Company Limited, in partnership with the Institute Foundation, has announced the opening of nominations for the Impactful Game Changers Awards 2026.
Nominations will run from September 1 to September 30, 2026, allowing members of the public to nominate deserving individuals, institutions, businesses, creative professionals, scholars and organizations making meaningful contributions to society.
The awards aim to recognize and celebrate excellence, leadership, creativity, innovation, service and positive impact within communities and beyond.
According to the organizers, nominations should be based on measurable contributions and genuine impact rather than popularity.
The award categories are divided into four main areas: Changing Communities, Movies, Education and Music.
Under Changing Communities, awards will be presented for Impactful Humanitarian, Impactful Academic Institution, Impactful Business and Impactful Media Platform.
The Movies category includes Impactful Producer, Impactful Director, Impactful Actor, Impactful Actress, Impactful Production Company and Impactful Movie of the Year.
Education awards include KID-AFAN Scholar Athlete, KID-AFAN Scholar Entertainer, KID-AFAN Scholar Educator and KID-AFAN Scholar Humanitarian. The Music category will recognize the Impactful Song of the Year and Impactful New Artist.
The organizers have encouraged the public to identify and nominate credible individuals and organizations that have demonstrated excellence, leadership and commitment to improving society.
“Find your nominee. Make your nomination,” the organizers stated, emphasizing that nominees should have a record of positive influence, service and measurable contributions.
KID-AFAN Company Limited and the Institute Foundation have also invited businesses, institutions, individuals and development partners to support the awards through sponsorship and partnership.
KID-AFAN Global Discoveries promotes African stories through storytelling and discovery, working through platforms including KID-AFAN Salone Discoveries, KID-AFAN Photography SL and KID-AFAN Films.
Dr. Isatu Kakay-Diallo, President and Chief Executive Officer of KID-AFAN Company Limited, also serves as Executive Producer for KID-AFAN Films and Salone Discoveries.
