Hon. Rosemarie Bangura, a Member of Parliament representing Tonkolili District, has been elected Vice Chairperson of the West African Regional Caucus of the Pan-African Parliament.
Her election is seen as an important step for Sierra Leone’s presence at the continental level. It also reflects the country’s growing role in regional and African governance.
