Nigerian music star Peter Okoye, popularly known as one half of P-Square, has praised the overwhelming support from fans in Sierra Leone despite difficult weather conditions at his performance venue.

In a message shared shortly after arriving at the event, the singer said heavy rainfall had affected the atmosphere but noted that the energy and love from fans remained strong.

“Just got to the venue and the rain is heavy, but the love I feel here in Sierra Leone is even heavier,” he said.

Peter Okoye expressed appreciation for the reception he received, adding that regardless of how the event unfolds, he is committed to returning to the country.

“No matter how tonight goes, I’ll definitely be back,” he added.

The artist’s visit forms part of activities around Sierra Leone’s Independence celebrations, which often attract international performers and large crowds.
