A five-story luxury building with a penthouse overlooking the Peninsula coastline is set to be sold following a court order, authorities have confirmed.
The property, which offers panoramic sea views of the Lakka and Ogoo Farm areas, will be sold to the highest bidder once a professional valuation is completed.
Officials said the sale will only be open to buyers with verifiable and legitimate sources of income.
According to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), the property was lawfully acquired by the commission after investigations, and the owner has surrendered it. A court has granted full approval for the sale.
Speaking on the development, ACC Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala said the move forms part of broader efforts to ensure accountability and recover assets for public benefit.
He stressed that only clean money will be accepted in the transaction and that proceeds from the sale will be returned to the people of Sierra Leone.

The development comes amid intensified anti-corruption efforts under what the government has described as the Year of Action, with officials saying there will be no tolerance for illicit wealth.
Further details on the valuation and bidding process are expected to be announced once preparations are completed.
