Sierra Leone’s Boii to Perform at Africa’s Oldest Music Festival After Berklee Training in Morocco
Rising Sierra Leonean singer Boii and sound engineer Charles Bah, both representing Cribs International, at a global stage as they participate in an intensive music program organized by Berklee College of Music in Morocco. The training will culminate in a live performance at the Gnaoua and World Music Festival in Essaouira, one of Africa’s oldest and most prestigious music festivals.
Boii is undergoing a specialized course focused on vocal performance and stagecraft, while Charles Bah is immersed in sound engineering and music production. Both are part of a diverse group of musicians, producers, and industry professionals selected to take part in this educational and cultural exchange spearheaded by Berklee College of Music, a globally renowned institution known for producing some of the world’s top music talents.
