In a statement released today, Massaquoi categorically dismisses the information as “false and groundless,” with the intention of damaging his reputation.
The rumors initially emerged on social media, leading to immediate speculation. However, Massaquoi promptly addressed the situation, affirming his unwavering commitment to his responsibilities and the oath of office. He emphasized, “My allegiance to the democratically elected President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Julius Maada Bio, remains steadfast.”
The Acting Director urges the public to disregard the “unfounded story” and underscores his dedication to serving the nation and upholding the Sierra Leone constitution.
