Normandie Cormier is a 21-year-old student who has achieved remarkable academic success and has accomplished many notable feats. Her recent post on LinkedIn highlights her achievements and invites her network to reintroduce herself. Cormier is graduating from Xavier University of Louisiana, one of the country’s most respected historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), with her second college degree in Neuroscience.

Cormier has proven to be a standout student, becoming a White House HBCU Scholar four times under the Obama, Trump, Biden, and Reagan administrations. She has also founded an educational enterprise worth $1 million, which is an impressive accomplishment at such a young age. In recognition of her achievements, she was given the Key to New Orleans by Mayor Cantrell.

Cormier has also performed neuroscience research aimed at alleviating drug and nicotine addiction, which is a major public health concern. Additionally, she has interned with some of the nation’s leading surgeons, including NASCAR’s greatest Dr. Jason Cormier.

As a Doctors of Tomorrow Fellow, Cormier has been recognized for her outstanding potential to contribute to the medical field. Her achievements also include graduating with two degrees at the age of 21, finishing her studies in three years, and doing so 100% debt-free. Cormier is also a member of several organizations, including the Biomedical Honor Society, the American Medical Student Association, the National Council of Negro Women, the Minority Association of PreMedical Students, Black in Neuro, ACS Chemistry Club, and the NAACP college division.

Cormier’s accomplishments are truly impressive and serve as an inspiration to other young people looking to achieve their goals. Her story is a testament to the value of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. As she moves forward into the next phase of her life, it is clear that she will continue to be a force for good in the world.

Festus is also a perpetual volunteer in life-changing causes and has shown great commitment and dedication to being a catalyst and solution to the challenges faced by young people like himself. Festus currently serves as the Secretary General of the Africa Youth Leaders movement which is a network of youth between the ages of 20 – 30 years who have shown achievement, leadership potential and commitment to make a difference. Festus is also the Africa Focal Point of Youth for Change Initiative, which is a platform through which young people can access resources, be empowered and given the opportunity to grow to become useful members of society who will participate in the development of their communities and nation. Along with another Africa Youth platform, Festus has Co-Founded the Future of Africa initiative which is an advocate forum with the aim to bring together local and international socio-economic stakeholders to support innovative programs aimed at advancing the radical and practical progress of adoption awareness-vulnerable children and youth and youth leadership-through interlinking local, regional and international resources and opportunities.
