“I was inspired with the love of music so I first enroll for the Afri radio east versus west dj competition, within the years I have also competed in the DJ. Medmix competition, Vybe & Spin competition.” she told Salone Messenger. DJ. Qwineve de Rapperpoet worked hard, and her efforts paid off.

Growing up, Mariama Gendemeh was a hard-working and determined woman who wanted to make a difference in her life and the lives of those among her. Despite facing many challenges, DJ. Qwineve de Rapperpoet never gave up on her dream of becoming what she wanted to become. DJ. Qwineve de Rapperpoet overcame all odds to completing her training in Disk Jokey with an international organization.
Mariama’s success was due in large part to her dedication and passion for journalist and music. She was constantly experimenting with new growing techniques and introducing innovative ways to improve the experience. Her enthusiasm and drive were contagious, and soon achieved her dream. DJ. Qwineve de Rapperpoet‘s success as a female Disk Jokey in Sierra Leone will serve as an inspiration to many of the other women in Sierra Leone. Evereth Bernice Bangura feels good being a female DJ because she loves doing it and also makes money from it, “I found that there a is a whole career from this profession so I decided to pursue a course in it to add value to this career of disc joking to earn a certificate in it.” she told Salone Messenger.
As word of encouragement to other women, Evereth Bernice Bangura said “I’m here today encouraging young girls, and ladies to pick up this profession and give meaning to their lives. I really feel good when I graduated on the 6th of December, 2022 from the World Wide Art for youth(Wayout)”
