20-year-old brilliant Sierra Leonean model, Matina Elizabeth Doherty, a student of I.P.A.M. University of Sierra Leone representing Lumley at this year’s Miss Best Model Sierra Leone 2022 has revealed that she is set to take home the crown as she presents why she is going for the Miss Best Model Sierra Leone 2022
Over the years, Matina Doherty has competed and won various beauty pageants including Miss Krootown road in 2020 (Winner), Miss Balala United 2020, and Miss Shams in 2019 (1st Runner up).
Matina Doherty is set to display her modeling skills to take home the crown, during an interview with Salone Messenger, Matina Doherty disclosed that she going for this year’s Miss Best Model Sierra Leone 2022 is using the platform to advocate for issues young people are faced with “Miss Best Model Sierra Leone 2022 is a much bigger stage with so many opportunities for me to win and represent Sierra Leone on an international stage. I know there are issues to be addressed in my country, especially youth-related. Realizing who we are, what we want, and how to get it as young people with creative minds and determined spirits, is what I am advocating for, with your support on this journey, there is no doubt that we will win that crown and garnish the mindset of youths for greatness” she said.

The brilliant model who is set to win further went on please to her fans to attend and support her the AYV Multi-Purpose Hall on the 21st of December, 2022

Therefore, it will be my utmost pleasure and delight to be crowned Miss Supermodel Worldwide and have the privilege to use my ability and uplift myself and show to the world that Sierra Leone indeed has a rare beauty, and a beauty that can make a difference with huge impact by contributing immensely to solving societal problems affecting mainly the youth such as drug abuse” She said.
