A 15 years old African-American boy identified as Nehemiah Juniel has achieved an incredible academic feat. In August 2022, he will be the youngest ever to graduate from Sam Houston State University (SHSU) in Texas, USA, when he receives his bachelor’s degree in health sciences.

Nehemiah’s parents, Raphael and Mrs Juniel, are overjoyed with their son’s accomplishments. Raphael commented, “Words can’t express how proud we are of him”. Mrs Juniel added that Nehemiah had begun reading and writing at the age of two.

Nehemiah’s strong desire to learn began at an early age, when he was just five years old and started tackling pre-algebra problems. At age 13, he had already earned an associate’s degree in science. SHSU was a great choice for Nehemiah because they provided him with the extra support he needed to succeed in university.
More than anything, Nehemiah’s remarkable milestone is a testament to his ambition and determination.
