Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, has handed over new digital learning materials to two primary schools in Freetown as part of efforts to strengthen early childhood digital education.
The Vice President visited Modern Elementary School and St Joseph’s Primary School, where he delivered equipment donated by Orange Sierra Leone. The donation, he said, reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to helping young pupils gain the digital skills they need for the future.
To further encourage academic excellence, Dr Jalloh also donated two iPads to the top-performing pupils in each school.
He praised the teachers and school leaders for their role in preparing children to succeed in an increasingly digital world, noting that their contribution remains essential to building a strong education system.
The Vice President said the government will continue investing in digital learning to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has access to modern educational tools.
