“The Scuffle,” a movie by KID-AFAN Films, has bagged seven awards at the Freetong Film Festival on the 15th September 2024 at the FCC building. The organization was founded to recognize and award filmmakers across Sierra Leone with the goal of uniting the movie industry.
“The Scuffle” was nominated in the categories of Best Feature Film, Best Producer, Best Director, Best Camera Person, Best Editor, and Best Actress.

“The Scuffle” is a collaboration between Nigerian Sierra Leone-based film producer John Afam, Daramy A. Kabba – the Sierra Leone Film Guild President, and Dr. Isatu Kakay Diallo, a USA-based Sierra Leonean Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP), philanthropist, executive producer, and the CEO of KID-AFAN Company Limited.
