The Sierra Leone Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary School has on Twitter disclosed that they are currently dispatching hard copies of the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) 2021 results to districts and schools.
Our Acting CEO & his Directors are currently dispatching hard copies of WASSCE 2021 to districts & schools. We’re grateful that in the middle of Covid-19, we’ve been able to successfully transition all students through primary, junior secondary & senior secondary school 2020/21 pic.twitter.com/NJGYIjWCUn

The Minister, Hon. David Moinina Sengeh confirmed in a Twitter post that they have received the hard copies of the WASSCE 2021 results for “release from WAEC”. The Minister continued by saying “While we await the soft copies to enhance our analyses and dissemination to the citizens, we want to thank the WAEC staff & all teachers who worked round the clock to make this happen!”
Thousands of Sierra Leonean students took the WASSCE 2021 exams in an attempt to gain admission to the university. As other West African countries have rolled out their WASSCE results, many Sierra Leonean students are furious to receive theirs and have vent out their frustrations on the Minister for the delay in issuance of results.
