Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship Details:

The Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation scholarship is the initiative of Alhaji (Engr.) Abdulkabir Aliu, the CEO of Matrix Energy Group.

From a modest beginning of 70 brilliant students in Six Federal Universities at inception in 2014, the Foundation now accepts applications from Students in 13 Federal Universities across the Nation.

Eligibility requirement for the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship

To be considered for the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship, you must have meet the  following conditions:

  • Undergraduate Scholarship
      • Must be a bona fide student in any of the listed universities.
      • Maintain a minimum of 3.5/5.0 CGPA (2nd Class Upper Division).
      • Must exhibit good character.
    • Undergraduate Scholarship for Orphans and Vulnerable Students
      • Must be a bona fide student of the University of Maiduguri.
      • Maintain a minimum of 2.5/5.0 CGPA (2nd Class Lower Division).
      • Must exhibit good character.
    • Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarship for Students of Ede Origin
      • Must be a bona fide student of a Federal University in Nigeria.
      • Maintain a minimum of 2.5/5.0 CGPA (2nd Class Lower Division).
      • Must exhibit good character.
      • For postgraduate students: Must have graduated with a minimum of 3.5/5.0 CGPA (2nd Class Upper Division) from a Federal University in Nigeria.

    Benefit of the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship

    • Winners are awarded an annual scholarship stipend of 150,000 – 250,000 Naira
