Sierra Leone International Students Association (SLISA), a student-led organization focusing on academic support, career development, personal and professional growth opportunities, community services, and cultural unity has celebrated nine self-sponsored exceptional students from Sierra Leone as they graduate with an MBA from Ohio Dominican University, a private University in Columbus, Ohio, USA.
Abubakarr Bah , Amza Jalloh ,Daramy Kabba , Ekachi Patrick Thomas,Hassan Kandeh ,Hassan Sesay, Ibrahim Ishmail Conteh, Saffie Bangura , Saidu Bangura specialising in Risk Management, Leadership, Finance, Health Care, Administration, Data Analytics, and Accounting.
The students are set to graduate on the 4th of May, this Saturday, in Columbus, Ohio, USA.
Daramy Kabba, one of the founders and currently head of the association during an interview with Salone Messenger applauded the students, āAs the President of the Sierra Leone International Students Association, I am immensely proud and inspired by the remarkable achievements of our nine graduating students, including myself from one university in one academic year with an MBA degree.ā He said.
Dominican University, known from 1922 to 1997 as Rosary College, is a private Roman Catholic university in River Forest, Illinois, affiliated with the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters. It offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees, certificate programs, and a PhD in information studies.
