Sierraflixx– an on-demand streaming service- has been awarded as the indigenous software company of the year, by Sierra Technology Awards 2022. The award ceremony is an annual event organised by Sierra Technology to give accolades to the very best technological companies in Sierra Leone.
After receiving the award, Idrissa Barry Jalloh- Executive Director 1- stated that “we are super proud for receiving this accolade, I am proud as a co-founder for being appreciated for our hard work and perseverance. He further emphasised that “ the company-Sierraflixx- is open to any kind of investments, any kind of people- as long as the investment[s] fits the policies of the company. The company does not only wants to based in Sierra Leone but every part of the globe”.

In an interview with Fatu Kamara Executive Director 2, after the award was announced, she was astonished by the company’s drive for excellence “ I can’t believe the impact we are creating, within few months of our establishment we’re now bagging awards. I’m super excited as a Sierra Leonean woman being part of greatness”. She concludes that this is the starting point, with commitment and dedication to work for excellence, her team can reach the level they are craving for. “Sierraflixx will be competing with other on-demand streaming platforms across the world” she mentioned.
