Sierra Leone’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Launches Alliance Of Champions for Food Systems Transformation at COP28_UAE

Sierra Leone’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Henry Musa Kpaka, launched the Alliance Of Champions for Food Systems Transformation during the COP28_UAE summit. The summit was held to implement the Declaration on Sustainable Agriculture, which had over 150 signatories.

As the co-chair of the summit with Brazil and Norway, and founding members Rwanda and Cambodia, Kpaka launched the #AllianceOfChampions for Food Systems Transformation. The initiative aims to transform food systems and promote sustainable agriculture practices.

 

Kpaka highlighted that Sierra Leone’s #FeedSalone initiative is leading the way in this regard. The initiative aims to increase food security in Sierra Leone by promoting sustainable agriculture practices and improving access to food.

The #AllianceOfChampions for Food Systems Transformation is a significant step towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The initiative aims to promote sustainable agriculture practices and transform food systems to ensure food security for all.
