Sierra Leonean model and social media influencer Almon Sall has been crowned Mister Africa International 2025 at a ceremony held in Lagos, Nigeria, becoming the first Sierra Leonean to win the continental male pageant.
The event, which brought together contestants from several African countries, celebrates leadership, talent, and cultural representation among young men across the continent. Sall’s victory has been hailed in Sierra Leone as a significant achievement for the country’s growing modelling and fashion industry.
Throughout the competition, Sall impressed judges with his confidence, stage presence, and passion for representing Sierra Leone on an international platform. In his remarks after being crowned, he dedicated the win to young people back home.
“I am rooted in the African heritage, natively oriented but modernly redefine. And because of that, i proudly walk on that stage with pride of being an African King. Congratulations Sierra Leone
we did it. Mister Africa International,” he said.
The Mister Africa International pageant, established in 2012, aims to promote positive African identity through fashion, entrepreneurship, and social impact projects. Past winners have gone on to serve as brand ambassadors and advocates for youth development and education.
Sall’s success adds to Sierra Leone’s growing reputation for producing talented young creatives making strides beyond national borders. His win has sparked widespread celebration on social media, with many describing it as a proud moment for the country.
